At 2 pm on September 28, the freshmen meeting for postgraduates of 2020 was held in Room 366 of the Department Building. Professor ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of SOB, Professor ZENG Chuhong, Vice Dean of SOB, SHEN Changxia, Deputy Party Secretary, Associate Professor LIU Fanglong, Director of the Postgraduate Office, and all the freshmen postgraduates of 2020 attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor LIU Fanglong, Director of the Postgraduate Office. In the meeting, Dean ZHU Wenzhong made an introduction to the freshmen about the development, history of GDUFS, basic information of SOB, and characteristics of SOB's disciplines. He also gave his best wishes and expectations to the students. After that, Vice Dean Professor ZENG Chuhong explained the importance of professional learning to the freshmen. It was followed by the safety education given by Deputy Party Secretary SHEN Changxia. At last, Director LIU Fanglong encouraged the freshmen to keep forging ahead, build on past achievements and strive for new progress, set clear goals, and enrich themselves, so as to become talents serving as the pillars of the future society.
