Recently, the result of the final evaluation of ERASMUS+LMPT, the cooperation project of GDUFS and the EuropeanUnion (EU), showed that the project was graded "EXCELLENT". It is another important achievement for GDUFS in its construction of a high-level university and striving for a "Double First-class" university.

After the approval of the project, GDUFS set up a working group on the LMPT project. Under the guidance of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, SOB took the lead in carrying out the project, with the joint participation of some teachers from the Faculty of English Language and Culture, the School of English for International Business and the Faculty of European Languages and Cultures. During the project, under the EU Bologna Process, it was realized that the project was linked up with the bachelor and master credit system of EU to achieve the mutual recognition of credits and degrees; under the European Qualification Framework (EQF), five core courses on sustainable tourism were developed, which were participated by nearly 300 students, and more than a dozen sustainable tourism teachers were trained. GDUFS established the Center of Excellence as a consultation and professional demonstration base in the field of sustainable tourism; at the same time, the exchange programs for teachers and students and the cooperation programs for scientific research were established with foreign universities. The LMPT project has rich achievements, strong feasibility and large space for follow-up cooperation, which lays a good foundation for the further development of sustainable tourism in GDUFS.
