GDUFS Holds the “14th Five-Year Plan” Development Strategy and Optimization of Discipline Layout Seminar on Business Administration under the Department of Sciences Management of NSFC

On November 10, 2020, the “14th Five-Year Plan” Development Strategy and Optimization of Discipline Layout Seminar on Business Administration under the Department of Sciences Management of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) was held in the Center for International Academic Exchanges of GDUFS, co-hosted by units including Office of Research and School of Business (SOB) of the GDUFS. Opinions and suggestions are expected to be drawn from the experts attending the seminar to guide the work of carrying out the “14th Five-Year Plan” development strategy and optimization of discipline layout. LIU Zuoyi, Deputy Director of the Department of Sciences Management of NSFC, Professor SUI Guangjun, arty Secretary of GDUFS, Presidents and Vice Presidents of Chongqing University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Sun Yat-sen University, Jilin University, Jinan University, Capital University of Economics and Business, Guangzhou University and other universities and more than 30 deans of business schools and personnel from Strategic Research Group and Business Administration Division attended the seminar. The opening ceremony was presided over by WU Gang, Head of Business Administration Division.

In the seminar, experts made in-depth discussions in terms of development strategy, discipline layout, code optimization, mechanism refinement, etc., themed by the “14th Five-Year Plan” development strategy targeted on Business Administration. They highly affirmed the work efficiency demonstrated by the Strategic Research Group and the fruits it achieved while putting forward sound and constructive opinions and suggestions. This seminar is of great significance for Business Administration in China to step into a new development stage centered by the “14th Five-Year Plan” as a college discipline. ,which pointed out the direction for the research of business administration in the next five years and beyond and played an important role in building consensus.
