Meeting Zhongshang, Pleasing Life——2020 MBA Guangzhou Class of Hong Kong Baptist University Visits Zhongshang Group

On the afternoon of November 8, students of 2020 MBA Guangzhou Class of Hong Kong Baptist University visited Zhongshang Group, which was their first mobile classroom. Themed by “sipmle love”, this visiting tour provided a wonderful opportunity for the students to unveil the business philosophy of “pleasing life”.

Adhering to the mission of pleasing life, Zhongshang Group is committed to the development of the retail industry. Since its establishment in 2006, it now has 30,000+ SKUs, and its products and services have accessed to 300 million users with the goal of becoming China's leading FMCG brand-group. Guided by PANG Dongxin, teachers and students got to learn the company’s layout, users and products through an electronic sand table. Then they enjoyed their stay with the high quality FMCGs in the exhibition area and got a taste of being an e-commerce influencer in the live streaming room. HE Tinghua, founder and CEO of Zhongshang Group, shared the original thoughts, the mission and the strategy set for the establishment of the enterprise. He told a story on how a group of people with love linked happiness with FMCG, demonstrating how an enterprise, which holds “pleasing life” as its mission, loves life, as well as how entrepreneurs of a new era stick to their social responsibilities.

During the communication session, students actively took part in discussions in terms of the business model, development uncertainties facing the company as well as ways of success, etc.. YUAN Denghua, professor of GDUFS, described this visiting tour with two words “simple love”. By “simple”, it means to express the values behind the brand and the products with the simplest way possible so that consumers can be impressed and encouraged to purchase. Above all, consumers will be surrounded by the feeling of love and happiness in the process of using products and eventually become fans of the brand. “Love” stands for the enterprise values of “producing love, sharing love and expressing love”. “Love” makes up the corporate genes of “born of love, taking love as soul and creating with love”.
