At 2pm on November 20th, School of Business held a special study on XI JINPING The Governance of China III in 310, teaching building No. 9. Professor Hu Wentao, member of the standing committee of the Party committee and head of the publicity department of the university, gave a guidance report entitled “opening up a new chapter for the Party construction work with the guidance of new ideas”. WEI Chuanwen, CPC Secretary of the School of Business, chaired the meeting, and the leading group of school's Party and government, directors of department (center), secretaries of Party branch and branch members attended the special study meeting.

Hu Wentao outlined the historical background, practical basis, editorial framework, logical structure and significance of XI JINPING The Governance of China III, and explained in detail the significance, connotation and requirements of the construction of the Party and government. He proposed to grasp the main line of strengthening the overall leadership of the Party and strengthening the political construction of the Party in national governance, and stressed the importance and necessity of learning from Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New ra and the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress. He called for a careful study of XI JINPING The Governance of China III, a comprehensive grasp of the central ideas, to effectively integrate the thoughts and actions into Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and pointed out that all teachers and students should take learning as an indispensable part of life and work, to carry out learning into practice.

The purpose of this seminar is to deepen the study, publicity and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. The participants had a deeper understanding of XI JINPING The Governance of China III, and further enhanced their consciousness and determination to study, understand and apply the thought.
