At 14:30 on December 10, the 20th lecture of the Business Academic Forum was held as scheduled at Meeting Room 366. The speakers were Dr. SUN Hailong and Dr. ZHAO Sisi from School of Business (SOB). Prof. XIE Jun and Assoc. Prof. LIU Fanglongco-chaired the meeting. First, Dr. ZHAO Sisi gave a speech under the theme of “Optimal handling strategy for delivery-time-sensitive product returns in online retailing”. And then, Dr. SUN Hailong delivered a speech on “‘Time-sensitive’: the impact of psychological momentum on multi-temporal inter-period decision making”. Many students and faculty members were actively engaged in the forum. During the interaction session, some teachers expressed their acknowledgment of the theoretical derivation process in Dr. ZHAO Sisi’s research, and they believed that the combination of the rigorous derivation of theoretical models and the traditional management empirical paradigm is conducive to the further development of management science. Meanwhile, some senior teachers offered constructive suggestions on Dr. SUN Hailong’s research from the perspective of academic writing, which Dr. Sun also expressed his agreement. The purpose of holding the Business Academic Forum is to inspire such high-level and targeted academic exchanges.
