Guangdong Youth Talk | Interview with SOB Alumni on Business Talents Cultivation and Exploration

On the afternoon of December 10, SOB “Business Youths, Dream Voyage” Guangdong Youth Talk and Forum on Business Talents Cultivation and Exploration in the Globalization was successfully held at Bajiao Building. Participants included ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of SOB, SHEN Changxia, Deputy Party Secretary of SOB, WEN Haiting (SOB alumnus of 2002), founder & CEO of Guangzhou Changtu Automobile Technology Development Co., Ltd., XIAO Rongshen (alumnus of 2003), founder and CEO of Guangzhou Tuanbopin Network Technology Co., Ltd. & Vice President of Hanhoo Group, YUAN Huijun (alumnus of 2005), Vice President of Guangzhou Shiyuan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (CVTE), MA Ruofei, CEO of Shangfen Education, WANG Zhen, Secretary of the SOB Youth League Committee, and ZHANG Zhe, instructor of the SOB Alumni Service Center. The forum was hosted by XIA Yiwei, a 2017 marketing student from SOB.

During the interview, the alumni expressed their views on cultivating international business talents from their own entrepreneurial practices, and offered guidance for SOB students to better develop a global vision, build knowledge structure, and cultivate skills. They also shared their gains when they were studying at SOB. The alumni encouraged business students to actively strive for chances, face up to challenges, cherish resources, do well in practice and continue to learn from it. Accumulating bit by bit to cultivate their own business awareness. At the end of the forum, all alumni shared their experiences and insights with the students who were about to embrace the “new business”, and encourage students through their own examples to dream big and make unremitting efforts to become outstanding business talents.
