On December 12, 2020, the 2020 China-Latin America Forum: Cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Latin America under Covid-19 & the Parallel Forum of the Fifth International Think Tank Forum of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road (2020) were jointly held online by School of Business, Center for Latin America Studies, GDUFS, and Business School, Chile-China Research Center, University of Santo Tomas, Chile. More than 50 experts, scholars, and representatives of teachers and students from GDUFS and Business School of the University of Santo Tomas, Chile gathered online to have in-depth discussions on hot issues in China and Latin America under Covid-19. The forum was hosted by Prof. LI Yongning, Deputy Director of Center for Latin America Studies, GDUFS. At this forum, the experts and scholars fully exchanged and discussed the frontier and hot topics of the communication and cooperation between China and Latin America in the context of the pandemic, and reached many enlightening conclusions. They expressed that they would further refine the content of their speeches and strive to make their contribution to the research on Sino-Latin American communication and cooperation under Covid-19.
