On the morning of January 6, 2021, SOB successfully held the meeting of summarizing the first semester of 2020-2021 academic year in Room 103 of MBA Education Center on North Campus. All staff of SOB attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by WEI Chuanwen.

At the meeting, WEI Chuanwen first introduced and extended a warm welcome to new staff--professor of Human Resource Management Department Dr. XIE Jun, new staff in the School Office including YANG Yongshi, HUANG Yongjie and LIU Tianjiao, and Counselors of Student Affairs Office including FANG Ruifen and HUANG Guanfu. ZHU Wenzhong summarized the key work of the School in 2020 and outlined the work schedule for 2021. Supplementary speeches concerning public service, discipline construction and research management, talents development and teaching management, the admissions, teaching and international exchanges and cooperation of MBA, students work and alumni work were delivered by Vice Deans including YUAN Denghua, ZENG Chuhong, DING Hao and XU Yiqing, and Deputy Party Secretary SHEN Changxia. Finally, WEI Chuanwen expressed his gratitude for the hard work of the teachers, conveyed the requirements of the university epidemic prevention and control work, and organized all the staff to learn the special content of the construction of teachers’ ethics.

After the meeting, XIAO Guowu, Director of Guangzhou Public Security Fire Prevention Education Center, gave a special lecture on fire safety, and all staff learned fire safety knowledge together.
