On the morning of January 5, 2021, SOB held a series of lectures on Teaching Practice Week at G105 of the Teaching Building, with the theme of “Review Time and Situation: the influence of psychological momentum on multi-period intertemporal decision making”, which was delivered by Dr. SUN Hailong, a teacher of Human Resource Management Department.

Dr. SUN Hailong first briefly introduced the research direction, namely behavioral decision-making, started his lecture with “behavioral economics” and “organizational behavior” which are familiar to the students, and summarized the research contents of behavioral decision-making in an easy-to-understand manner. Dr. Sun shared the main contents of the subject through such examples as “zebra crossing”, “German transparent dustbin”, “organ transplantation” and “three-line love letter in Douban”. He also pointed out that behavioral decision-making is a very romantic subject, which can assist policy implementation and guide personal life. He hoped that students could have an in-depth understanding about the content of behavioral decision-making. Then, Dr. SUN Hailong specifically introduced a research currently under way, “the influence of psychological momentum on multi-period intertemporal decision making”. SUN Hailong explained it from the aspects of research background, research problems, research contents and research contributions. Through this lecture, the students deeply understood the emerging research fields of management and the preliminary research ideas, which is conducive for students to clarify their research directions of future study and make in-depth exploration.
