On the afternoon of January 30, 2021, Guangdong Leadership Empowerment and Organization Development Research Society (hereinafter abbreviated to LEO), the leaders of Baiyun District, and participants representing each class of Guangdong Start-up Business Operators' Quality Enhancement Training - Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) Workshop visited Guangdong Topcent Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Jiuzhou Creative Park. The leaders and guests who participated in the study tour were: Mr. Zhao Wei, consultant of Guangdong LEO, member of the 12th CPPCC of Guangdong Province, deputy director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Committee, and former general manager of Namyue Group; Mr. Zeng Jianwei, former deputy governor of Baiyun District; Prof. Qiu Weinian, dean of Institute of Advanced Continuing Education (Open College) and School of Electronic Sports of GDUFS, director of Leadership and Organization Development Research Center (LEO) of GDUFS, and president of Guangdong LEO; Prof. Wang Weihong, member of CPPCC of Guangdong Province, counselor of the Guangdong provincial government, and vice president of Guangdong LEO; Dr. Ouyang Jingbo, president of Pan Asia Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd.; and more than 20 representatives of previous students.
First, they went to Guangdong Topcent Technology Development Co., Ltd. for study and exchange. Then they visited the exhibition hall of Topcent to have an in-depth insight into the development of the enterprise. In the afternoon, the second stop was Jiuzhou Creative Park, where the leaders and students looked around the creative center.
The visit of LEO students to enterprises helps to strengthen communication among LEO students and open up their thinking. Through offering more opportunities, Guangdong LEO and the LEO of GDUFS will help entrepreneurial students understand each other’s industry trends and innovation of business models and learn the operation mode and management experience of advanced enterprises in a bid to complement each other, realize mutual benefits and win-win results, and grow healthily and sustainably.
