In accordance with the spirit of the notice of GDUFS Party Committee, SOB Party Committee formulated the “SOB 2020 Work Plan for the Organizational Life Meeting and Democratic Appraisal of Party Members”. The launch meeting was held to make arrangements for the relevant work. From March 1 to 12, 18 Party Branches of SOB successively held special organizational life meetings for the Year 2020.

Before the meetings, it had been organized in the Party Branches to conscientiously study XI Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and to study and implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. At the meetings, the Party Branches organized the members to study the spirit of the important speech delivered by General Secretary XI Jinping at the launch meeting of Party history learning and education. The present Party members shared their experiences and had in-depth exchanges and learning. Individual self-evaluation and mutual evaluation were carried out by each Party member. In adherence to the idea of “unity-criticism-unity”, criticism and self-criticism were conducted at the Party meetings. Subsequently, the democratic appraisal of Party members was carried out in all Party Branches. Through the organizational life meetings, the members of all Party Branches obtain a better understanding of the relevant requirements for the building of grass-roots Party organizations of the CPC Central Committee and the ranks of Party members, the goals and tasks of China’s economic and social development during the 14th Five-year Plan period, and the deployment of 1+1+9 of Guangdong province.
