The preliminary exam of the national postgraduate entrance examination for the class of 2017 came to an end. In order to help students to navigate and sail through the secondary examination, SOB held an online meeting guiding undergraduate students from the class of 2017 to take part in the secondary examination on March 17th. Deputy Party Secretary of SOB, SHEN Changxia presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, ZENG Chuhong, Associate Dean of SOB used a result-oriented approach to provide students with detailed recommendations and guidance on how to handle different situations after the preliminary exam and explained requirements and skills for the secondary examination. The next part was the session for students to raise questions. Students asked questions about how to choose mentors for postgraduate education as well as the time and space for the secondary exam. Teachers answered them one by one, giving directions to students. In the end, SHEN Changxia made her concluding remarks. She pointed out that, the experience of preparing for the exam would be an invaluable asset in students’ life and their hard work would pay off.
With teachers’ care and guidance, students not only had a deeper understanding of the postgraduate entrance examination, but also further clarified their plans for schooling and development in the next phase.
