GDUFS-Massey University Summit on Sustainable Development in Times of Crisis

On April 13, GDUFS-Massey University Summit on Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility was held online through Zoom video conference. Stephen Kelly, vice-president and dean of the School of Business in Massey University of New Zealand, and JIAO Fangtai, vice-president of GDUFS, delivered remarks at the opening ceremony. The summit was presided over by Gabriel Ewej, director of the School of Business' Research Center for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility of Massey University.

Under the theme of “Sustainable Development in Times of Crisis: An Agenda for Change”, professors from both universities discussed sustainable development facing crises from different levels during the summit. Together with other teachers and students, ZHU Wenzhong, dean of SOB, Anna Berka, professor from Massey's School of Management, and Nitha Palakshappa, doctor from Massey's School of Communication, Journalism and Marketing (CJM) attended the summit. The purpose of this summit was to further strengthen the cooperation between the two universities, promote the development of the GDUFS-Massey Research Center for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility, and provide exchange opportunities for teachers and students of the two sides.
