On April 14, the School of Business successfully held the first lesson of Ideological and Political Education in Room F208 of the teaching building in the South Campus with WEI Chuanwen, secretary of the Party committee of SOB, and dean ZHU Wenzhong as the main speakers.

With the topic of "Recalling Our Aspirations A Century ago, Living the Best of Our Youth", WEI Chuanwen demonstrated the importance of studying Party history by conveying XI Jinping's important speech spirits which were delivered in the Mobilization and Education Meeting on Party history. He called on the students to learn the Party history, to think enlighteningly, to do practical work and to break new ground. With the theme of "Learning the History of the Communist Party of China, Strengthening Our Faith and Cultivating the New Generation", ZHU Wenzhong led the students to review the achievements of the Communist Party of China by delivering contents from "the glorious history of the Party", "the original mission of the Party" to "the Four Greats", "the Four-pronged Comprehensive Strategy", “the Four matters of Confidence" and "the Three New Developments".

Through the learning session, students were greatly encouraged and inspired by the Party's great adventure and achievements while absorbing wisdom from and getting their character abolished by the Party's practical work and historical experiences. Let us remember the history behind the Communist Party of China, review the original aspiration and mission of the Party members, pay our tribute to our predecessors and forge ahead with the Party memory.
