On December 28, 2020, the Third National Conference of Business School Alliance of Foreign Language and Foreign Trade Universities and Seminar of Discipline Construction, sponsored by the National Business School Alliance of Foreign Language and Foreign Trade Universities and organized by School of Business (SOB), GDUFS, was successfully held in the International Academic Exchange Center of GDUFS. WANG Yonggui, Vice Chancellor of Capital University of Economics and Business and Deans of the other nine foreign language and foreign trade universities including Beijing Foreign Studies University, Shanghai International Studies University, Beijing International Studies University, Xi’an International Studies University, Sichuan International Studies University, Dalian University of Foreign Languages, Tianjin Foreign Studies University, Zhejiang International Studies University and GDUFS delivered keynote speeches at the seminar, discussing the problems of the discipline construction and pooling wisdom to jointly promote the development of business schools in foreign language and foreign trade universities. The seminar was hosted by Professor ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of SOB, GDUFS.

This seminar, held both online and offline, aims to explore the innovative mode of discipline development, promote the common progress of all member universities, and blaze a high-level path of discipline construction with characteristics of Business School of foreign language and foreign trade universities as well as Chinese characteristics in the new era.
