In the afternoon of January 8, 2021, the Career Planning Month of SOB and Outstanding Alumni Career Development Symposium were held successfully in Faculty Building 366. SHEN Changxia, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, LV Danfeng, Senior Vice President of Guangzhou Shiyuan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd (CVTE) and alumni of our School, WANG Zhen and HUANG Guanfu, counselors of the School as well as over 30 students from various grades attended the symposium. And the symposium was presided over by SHEN Changxia.

At the symposium, to begin with, SHEN Changxia expressed her gratitude to the alumni for their active support and concern for the career development of the students in the School, and encouraged the students to listen attentively to the lectures and strive to build up their edges. Afterwards, LV Danfeng shared her experience and advice on the field of human resources (HR). She also put emphasis on the importance of the HR major by arguing that HR affect people within the organization and ultimately determine the business of a company. At the end of the symposium, she encouraged the students to actively learn theory and make practice so as to become applied talents in human resources major. Therefore, the students had a deeper understanding of their career planning and were inspired and encouraged by this symposium. The Career Development Symposium of the School was concluded as a success.
