In order to carry forward Party history learning and education, guide the students to better understand the power of faith and the light of ideals, strengthen their ideals and beliefs, and fulfill the original aspiration and the mission, the 4thRed Classics Cultural Recitation and Performance Contest named “Eulogize Red Classics and Construct Ambition of a Century” was held by School of Business in the Great Hall of South Campus on the evening ofMay 6th. Chief Editor of the campus newspaper BIN Ruiguang, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office GUO Jia, a teacher from the School of Marxism HONG Xun, Party Committee Secretary of SOB WEI Chuanwen, and Deputy Secretary SHEN Changxia attended the competition.

The competition adopted the innovative form of “recitation + N”, integrating recitation, drama, sign language, dance, song, poetry and other artistic performance forms into one, injecting youthful vitality into the red culture.In the competition, the participating teams were full of enthusiasm, and their excellent performances aroused the audience’s feelings frequently.

Since the recitation and performance competition was launched, the School has attached great importance to it and the competition was organized meticulously. Student Party members took the lead, and all Party branches and classes participated actively in the competition, creating a strong atmosphere of learning Party history, feeling Party grace and strengthening Party spirit in the School, which fully displayed the vigorous and progressive spirit of the young people of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. After the activity, many students said that they had a deeper understanding of the ideals, beliefs and faith of the Communist Party members of China.
