In order to carry forward Party history learning and education continuously and deeply, enrich the internship and employment experience of students on campus, and meet the needs of students’ summer internship and corporate internship recruitment, the 15th summer internship job fair in the university town was held by School of Business successfully on May 9th. In response to the epidemic prevention and control requirements of GDUFS, the job fair was carried out online, giving full play to the role of new media technology platform. What’s more, it effectively combined and solved the actual needs of both students and enterprises. More than 10 enterprises including Country Garden, Xueersi Education and Liepin participated in the job fair, providing more than 460 positions for interns and attracting nearly 600 students from universities in the university town to participate online.

The job fair was divided into two sessions, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. The employers introduced the general situation of the company, career development direction, personnel needs, company welfare and promotion mechanism to the students by playing videos or presentation withPPT. Students can consult companies or positions they are interested in online through enterprise publicity and online platform established by the School, and submit resumes for interview directly.

Students who attended the summer internship job fair said that they can determine the summer internship in advance on campus, which can save their time and effort. What’s more, the enterprises’ presentations are full of practical contents, so they can have a clearer choice or plan for their career direction after graduation, which is of great help to improve their understanding of the enterprises, job positioning and career choice.
