At 13:07 on May 22nd, 2021, YUAN Longping, winner of the “Medal of the Republic”, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, director of the National Hybrid Rice Engineering Research Center, former vice chairman of Hunan Provincial People’s Political Consultative Conference, died of illness, at the age of 91.

In June 2019, the authoritative domestic journalManagement Reviewpublished a paper“Exploring the Construction Mechanism of ‘the Longping Way’ - A Case Study Based on Grounded Theory”written by Professor ZENG Chuhong, Professor QIU Weinian and Associate Professor LIU Fanglong from GDUFS. Academically, through the grounded theory and saturation analysis, this paper found the core concept neglected by scholars in the traditional theoretical framework of corporate culture, that is, the enterprise culture character. At the same time, based on the case practice and theoretical framework, the multi-level structure model of enterprise culture was deduced, which has enriched the theory of enterprise culture to a great extent and has great academic value.

At this time of national grief, we once again dedicate this academic paper to Academician YUAN Longping and his followers! May Prof. Yuan rest in peace! May the followers of his career realize his two dreams soon!
