Research Results Symposium of the “National Teaching Quality Standards” for Business Administration majors in 2021 by Teaching Steering Committee for Business Administration of Higher Education, Ministry of Education was held online on May 28.
The purpose of this symposium is to discussthe National Teaching Quality Standardsfor Business Administration majors (hereinafter referred to as theNational Standards) and the tasks involved in its implementation, exchange and release the outstanding teaching and research achievements of theNational Standards, and discuss the talent cultivation concept, specialty construction and quality assurance system construction behind the implementation of theNational Standards.
Professor SUI Guangjun, member of Teaching Steering Committee and Party Committee Secretary of GDUFS, attended the symposium and delivered a speech. Representatives from more than 10 universities across the country and members of 34 national teaching and research groups for the implementation ofNational Standardsattended the symposium. Professor YANG Xiaohui, director of the academic affairs office of GDUFS, and leading cadre of School of Business attended the symposium.
Professor SUI Guangjun introduced the development history of our school and the talents training system with distinctive features, as well as the achievements we made in the construction of undergraduate majors under the guidance ofNational Standardsat the symposium. Professor GE Jing from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Secretary General of the Teaching Steering Committee, gave a speech on behalf of the Committee and introduced the background of the symposium. He affirmed the achievements made by the implementation group ofNational Standards, and expressed his thanks to the organizers of the symposium.
When exchanging outstanding achievements, the participating experts had in-depth discussions from many aspects, and they spoke freely to express their own opinions. In the end, Professor TIAN Zhilong summarized the symposium, introduced the selection process of the three outstanding achievements, and gave a brief introduction to the future work plan of the Teaching Steering Committee.
The symposium is the very important one held by Business Administration discipline in China, which has important guiding significance for the in-depth implementation of theNational Standardsand also points out the development direction for the future research of the Business Administration discipline. The symposium built consensus and helped promote the high-quality development of the discipline of Business Administration in China.
