On the afternoon of June 10, SOB held a meeting on the professional ethics and competence of teachers. WEI Chuanwen, Secretary of the Party Committee of SOB, delivered a keynote speech at the meeting. All teachers and staff of SOB attended the meeting. Deputy Party Secretary of SOB, SHEN Changxia presided over the meeting. WEI Chuanwen conveyed the relevant requirements of the School to strengthen the education on professional ethics and competence of teachers. Through the comparative explanation of the positive and negative cases, he gave teachers a more profound understanding of the construction of teaching ethics. SOB has attached great importance to strengthening the professional ethics and competence of teachers, reflected the principle of strict control and generous love in the construction and management of teachers’ ethics and competence. More efforts have been made to enhance the ideological and action consciousness of teachers and staff to abide by the ten principles of teacher professional behaviour, and stick to the original intention of nurturing people for the Party and the country. The faculty of SOB is inspired to foster noble virtues and teaching ethics and become teachers with ideals and beliefs, moral sentiments, solid knowledge, and a benevolent heart, whom the party and the people are satisfied with.
