On the afternoon of June 10, SOB held a meeting about learning the histories of the Party, New China, the reform and opening-up, and socialist development. WEI Chuanwen, Secretary of the Party Committee of SOB, delivered a keynote speech at the meeting. All teachers and staff of SOB attended the meeting. Deputy Party Secretary of SOB, SHEN Changxia presided over the meeting. WEI Chuanwen elaborated the background, importance, and content of learning the histories in a comprehensive and penetrating manner. He stressed that learning the histories in these four periods will make us sensible and reasonable and hence we shall have a solid grasp of the innovative development of histories. If we learn the histories well, our faculty will be more worthy of expectations and our educational cause will have a brighter future.
