From July 5 to 11, 2021, SOB of GDUFS launched a training camp for Hong Kong and Macao students to experience Guangdong business culture and make innovation practice. More than 130 students from nearly seven universities in Hong Kong, Macao and the Bay area signed up for the program.

The training camp lasted for 7 days. Nearly 10 well-known professors were invited to give a series of lectures on Guangdong business culture. Professor ZHU Wenzhong’s lecture on “Guangdong business culture and corporate social responsibility”and Associate Professor HUANG Lei’s course on “Guangdong business culture and sustainable development” introduced the industrial structure and development characteristics of various regions in Guangdong, as well as the current development situation of Guangdong business. The lecture given by Professor LUO Jining on the “Cultural marketing strategy of inheriting and promoting the intangible cultural heritage of Guangdong business culture” inspired students’ sense of mission and responsibility for protecting the cultural heritage of Guangdong business culture. Professors WANG Gang, XIE Jun, YANG Wenhui and YUAN Denghua shared with the students the methods of corporate governance and performance improvement and the new pattern of the development of Guangdong business. DENG Bin’s lecture on learning from Huawei conveyed the corporate culture and warmth of Huawei, a leader in the field of communications in China. At last, Professor SHEN Minghao’s lecture on “Guangdong business network and the Maritime Silk Road” drew a successful conclusion to the academic lectures of the training camp.

At noon on July 11, the project of 2021 "Ten Thousand talents Plan" ended. In the future, GDUFS will continue to cooperate with universities in Hong Kong and Macao to carry out exchange programs, online and offline courses, lectures and other activities. It is hoped that more Hong Kong and Macao students can experience language learning and feel the colorful cultures, so as to enhance the friendship between university students in Hong Kong and Macao and those in the mainland.
