On the afternoon of July 15, the opening ceremony of school-level excellent internship base has been successfully held by SOB and Guangdong LinkHub Science & Technology Information Service Co.(hereafter referred to as "LinkHub") at Guangdong· Hongkong· Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base. ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of SOB, DING Hao, Vice Dean of SOB, MENG Ding, Director of Department of Business Administration, LU Wenjie, Academic Secretary, and CHEN Weiting, Assistant of Academic Affairs Office have attended the event.
ZHU Wenzhong firstly expressed his gratitude for the excellent internship and practice platform provided by LinkHub all along, and recognized the sound environment of the base for cultivating talents. In addition, he gave an overview of the GDUFS’s profile, as well as SOB’s talent training objectives, teaching achievements, and student employment. He pointed out that SOB focuses on cultivating international high-end talents and has also achieved significant results.
LIAN Jie began by expressing her gratitude to the school for awarding the school-level excellent internship base plaque for ConnectHub. Then she affirmed SOB's initiative of sending numerous outstanding talents to various competitions and activities every year, and remarked that the base would like to engage in further exchanges with GDUFS. Besides, she gave an introduction of the base and suggested that the base could offer resources of strategic alliance to GDUFS in the future. She also showed expectation for further in-depth cooperation.
LU Wenjie briefed the participants on the base's work progress since the agreement was signed in three parts: agreement signing, students' practice and the awarding of school-level excellent internship base. Ms. Lu also mentioned that since SOB signed the cooperation agreement with LinkHub in 2019, it has provided a number of high-quality practical training platforms and created various practice opportunities for students through several activities.
The delegation also visited the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base accompanied by "LinkHub" as well as learned about the company and all aspects of the base. Both sides have expressed the intention to deepen the exchanges and cooperation in the future, and join hands in talent training, curriculum development and scientific research collaboration, so as to contribute to the healthy environment of innovation and entrepreneurship education for university students.
