On the afternoon of September 6th, accompanied by the solemn national anthem, all the SOB academic postgraduate freshmen watched a special "opening ceremony", where they firmed up their ideals and beliefs and started a new journey under the witness of the national flag.
In order to help the postgraduate freshmen better adapt to the new stage of life, on the afternoon of September 6th, all 2021 academic postgraduate freshmen of SOB were organized to studyPostgraduates' Handbookin Conference Room 360, the office building of SOB. Shen Zhonghua, Counselor of SOB graduate students, explained various management regulations to the students. He introduced the Postgraduates' Scholarship System and its implementation rules, and led the students to read the relevant regulations and policies. Finally, all the postgraduate students signed on theGraduate Commitment Letter of GDUFS for Postgraduate Students.
On the evening of September 6th, SHEN Changxia, Deputy Party Secretary of SOB, and SHEN Zhonghua, Counsellor of graduate students visited the dormitories of freshmen. While visiting, SHEN Changxia patiently asked about the basic situation of the dormitory and the feeling of arriving at new school. She also discussed how to build a harmonious dormitory relationship with the students. In addition, SHEN Changxia stressed that students should abide by the rules and regulations of the dormitory, improve safety awareness, and put forward specific requirements for pandemic prevention and control.
The entrance education activity makes the freshmen feel the warmth of the SOBfamily, strengthens students' safety awareness, provides a strong guarantee for guiding postgraduates to abide by academic norms, promoting the overall development of postgraduates' moral, intellectual and physical development, and makes the distance between teachers and students closer.
