On the morning of September 9, 2021, the First Lesson of Ideological and Political Education by Dean of SOB was unveiled successfully. Dean ZHU Wenzhong gave a lecture on the topic of "Learning Party History to Solidify Beliefs and Foster a New Generation with Sound Values and Ethics". The meeting was attended by all the freshmen of Class 2021 and their Counselor LUO Yiying.

First of all, ZHU Wenzhong started his lecture with the glorious history of the CPC and pointed out that the Party had accomplished four major events in its century-long journey. And he explained by examples that the main reason for completing these events was that the Party stayed true to its original mission. Then, he explained the meaning and significance of "Four Greats", "Four-pronged Comprehensive Strategy", "Four-sphere Confidence" and "Three New Developments". In particular, he profoundly explained the content and meaning of the "Four Greats" through examples. Facing the changes unseen in a century, he noted that we should implement a new development philosophy and a new development dynamic as China enters a new development stage.

Finally, given the mission, vision, and values of SOB, ZHU Wenzhong put forward some suggestions on how to develop international high-level business talents. The first was to do small and good things; the second was to learn to abide by rules and regulations and lead a healthy life; the third was to pursue faith and pursue excellence.

The "Party History Learning" lecture series enabled freshmen to have a deeper understanding of Party history, the spirit of "July 1" important speech, and SOB. He hoped that those students can take practical actions to realize any indispensable tasks of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and to fight for their wonderful youth.
