On October 18, 2021, the graduation ceremony of the 2020 quality promotion seminar for startups managers by the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province was held at the Academic Lecture Hall of the North Campus Library. The seminar was mainly sponsored by the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province, jointly hosted by SOB and Leadership Empowerment and Organization Development Research Center (LEO) of GDUFS, and co-organized by LEO of Guangdong Province. Mr. CHEN Dongfeng, former Vice President of Evergrande Group, Professor JIAO Fangtai, Vice President of GDUFS, Professor QIU Weinian, Dean of School of Advanced Continuing Education (Open) and School of Electronic Sports, Director of Leadership Empowerment and Organization Development Research Center (LEO), President of Guangdong Leadership Science and Organization Development Research Association (LEO), Professor ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of SOB attended the ceremony together.

At the ceremony, Professor JIAO Fangtai, Vice President of GDUFS appointed Mr. CHEN Dongfeng as a special researcher of Leadership Empowerment and Organization Development Research Center and Vice President of Guangdong Leadership Science and Organization Development Research Association and presented him with an appointment letter. There followed the closing speech by Professor QIU Weinian and others on behalf of GDUFS.

In addition, ZHENG Biqui, a representative of students, spoke on behalf of the 2020 Seminar for Startups, demonstrating his gratitude to the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province and GDUFS. Mr. HUANG Wenhua, Mr. WEN Haiting, Professor QIU Weinian, Professor ZHU Lijun, Mr. GAO Nan, and Mr. CHEN Dongfeng all shared their experiences on business organization management.

The seminar offered multi-dimensional knowledge to stimulate the participants' understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship, and inspire them to put what they learn into practice and keep the unity of knowledge and action, for example, to integrate what they think in class into their business operation. We hope that this seminar will enable entrepreneurs of startups to expand their new visions and grow stronger and make steady progress in their future entrepreneurial journey.
