Recalling the History of the University and Forging Ahead Into the Future —the First Student Party Branch of Human Resources Management of SOB Carries Out Party History Educationin the History Museum of GDUFS-School of Business

To continuously expand the breadth and depth of the party history learning, on October 14, 2021, the party branch carried out on-site teaching of party history in the History Museum of the South Campus. SHEN Changxia, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of SOBS, FANG Ruifen, secretary of the party branch, and all party members of the branch participated in the activity.

After entering the history museum, the commentator explained to the party members of the branch the process and characteristics of running GDUFS, the reform of education and teaching, as well as the course of struggle and achievements of the vigorous development of various undertakings of the university. Party members have learned about the key performance of the university in opening the mode of running a school, serving the society, facilitating international exchanges, and developing campus culture. Besides, they have also gained a deeper understanding of the university motto and enhanced the feelings of loving and honoring the university. Under the bright Party flag, party members of the branch solemnly reviewed the Party admission oath, recalled their solemn commitments when they joined the Party, and strengthened their loyalty to the party and their unremitting pursuit of the cause of communism.

Afterwards, student party members YANG Shanshan and ZHU Aihuang respectively shared their views of visiting the university history museum and studying the party history, and expressed their patriotism and affection for the university. Party members said that through practical learning, they had further realized the significance of learning histories since history makes people wise and confident. As the new generation of GDUFS, they should carry forward the spirit of the older generation and study diligently to bring honor to GDUFS in the future. What’s more, SHEN Changxia shared her learning ideas and expressed her expectations for party members.

This activity has enhanced the cohesion of the branch, stimulated the enthusiasm of party members, strengthened their ideals and beliefs, corrected their work style, and encouraged them to become a new generation of young people capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation.
