[2021 Undergraduate Teaching Quality Month]The Growth Path of an HR: Starting from the End, Attitude + Empathy---the Department of Human Resources Holds a Alumni Sharing Meeting.
2021-10-17 15:03

On the afternoon of October 15, 2021, the alumni sharing meeting of the Human Resources Department was successfully held in Room 366 of the department building, which was actively attended by all classes of 2018, 2019 and 2020 of human resources management of SOB.

First of all, Professor AN Fansuo, director of the Department of Human Resources of SOB, introduced the alumnus YE Zhiran to students. Professor An extended warm welcome and thanks to Mr YE for his arrival and hoped that the students would follow Mr. YE Zhiran as an example.

In the part for sharing, YE Zhiran first got a general idea of students’ future employment direction, and then shared his own experience. Combined with his own work experience, he provided some practical guidance for students. Based on the Tuckman model, YE Zhiran interactively discussed with students the planning of career development. YE Zhiran also introduced his own HR methodology. He particularly emphasized “employability”. From his perspective, the traditional contract between the employee and the enterprise is that the enterprise must create the job for the employee in accordance with the task he receives, and that the salary, job opportunity and future of the employee are completely decided by the enterprise. But now, as enterprises continue to provide challenging jobs to improve individuals, individuals keep improving their ability to be employed in the organization, that is, employability.

Finally, Professor AN Fansuo made a summary and gave us two blessings: first, he wished all students can become people of “employability” through in-campus schooling and training after graduation; second, he wished YE Zhiran and many other alumni of GDUFS go higher and further in their future careers. Alumni are welcome to visit their Alma Mater on a frequent basis.
