To further implement the spirits of the National Education Conference and the Meeting on Ideological and Political Work in China’s Universities and Colleges, practice the concept of student-centred education, reach out to students, and serve their growth and success, TANG Rui, Deputy Party Secretary of GDUFS visited the dormitories of SOB's students on October 24 to conduct research and face-to-face communication with students. WEI Chuanwen, Secretary of the Party Committee of SOB, SHEN Changxia, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SOB, and Zhang Zhe, Counselor of SOB jointly attended the symposium.

In Room 537 of the dormitory building 8, TANG Rui and the group of teachers carefully checked the infrastructure and fire safety in the dormitory, urging the students to pay more attention to hygiene and electrical safety of the dormitory. In the symposium, TANG Rui asked the students in detail about their personal situations, career planning goals, as well as disturbing problems in their studies and life. Students like YU Jiaxu, CAI Zixin, and ZHONG Haojie shared their thoughts regarding career planning and learning experience respectively.

In the communication, TANG Rui responded to students' concerns in time and fully affirmed their attitude of pursuing advancement and the harmonious and loving dormitory atmosphere. Meanwhile, given his study and work experience, he made suggestions for them on postgraduate entrance examination and employment.

Reaching out to students to carry out ideological work is a crucial measure to implement the “Three Full Education”, referring to the full involvement in education, entire process of education, and all-around education. This in-depth communication with students has brought the teachers and students more closer, which reflects GDUFS's care for students and enhances its understanding of students, which is conducive to delivering better services and management of students.
