On the afternoon of January 15, SOB held a safety education conference for students staying in school during winter vacation in Room F208 of the Teaching Building of the South Campus. SHEN Changxia, Deputy Party Secretary of SOB, Counselors of SOB and all the students staying in school during the winter vacation attended the conference. The conference was presided over by SHEN Changxia.

At the conference, SHEN thanked the students for their contributions to the development of SOB. She stressed that the university and SOB attached great importance to the safety of the students during their stay and had taken a series of measures to ensure their safety, hoping that the students would have a rich and meaningful vacation.

Subsequently, ZHANG Zhe, Counselor of SOB, explained the precautions during the stay in detail to the students from several aspects, including the systems of approving stays and reporting departure, the regulations of pandemic prevention and control and dormitory management, fire prevention, theft prevention, fraud prevention, off-campus internship and practice, reasonable arrangement of the vacation, and so on. A prize-giving Q&A session on safety knowledge was also held. SHEN presented the students who participated in this session with school supplies and daily necessities carefully prepared. At last, all the students staying in school during the winter vacation signedThe Safety Commitment Letter for Staying in School During Winter Vacation. After the conference, SHEN and Counselors of SOB went to the student dormitory separately to extend regards to the students staying in school and distributed consolation money to the students whose family has financial difficulties.

As the winter vacation is approaching, SOB fully considers the needs of students, provides help and services for students and strives to do a good job in ensuring the safety of students staying in school during the vacation, which has created a safe and harmonious learning and living atmosphere for the students.
