On May 10, a symposium on visiting enterprises and promoting employment was held in Room 204 of the F teaching building on South Campus. The symposium was jointly attended by WEI Chuanwen, Secretary of the Party Committee of SOB, SHEN Changxia, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SOB, XIAO Rongshen, an alumnus of the marketing class of 2007 and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Guangzhou Tuanbaoping Network Technology Co., Ltd., TANG Lifeng and HE Yingshan, representatives of enterprises, WANG Zhen, XIANG Yuanwei, ZHANG Zhe, counselors, and students representatives. The symposium was presided over by SHEN Changxia.

At the symposium, WEI Chuanwen analyzed the current employment situation and introduced the measures taken by SOB to help graduates find jobs. He expressed his wish to further expand close cooperation between the school and alumni enterprises to promote the graduates’ employment. Mr. XIAO Rongshen shared his experiences of and insights into employment and entrepreneurship and responded to graduates' doubts related to internship and employment in detail. After the symposium, the alumni company, Guangzhou Tuanbaoping Network Technology Co., Ltd., held a job fair in Room 215 of the F teaching building.
