On the afternoon of July 2, SOB held an online safety education conference for students staying in school during the 2022 summer vacation. Attendants included SOB's Deputy Party Secretary SHEN Changxia, counselors and all relevant students. The conference was chaired by counselor ZHANG Zhe.

At the conference, SHEN Changxia stressed that "safety is the highest priority and the key lies in ourselves." With horrific real-world examples, she warned students of accidents that could arise from fire, water, electricity and traffic, and of frauds. Subsequently, ZHANG Zhe explained the precautions during the stay in detail to the students from several aspects, including systems of approving stays and reporting departure, regulations of pandemic prevention and control and dormitory management, theft and fraud prevention, off-campus internship and practice, reasonable vacation arrangement, and so on.

The conference deepened students' understanding of relevant regulations of the campus, strengthened their safety consciousness, and helped create an environment for living and studying that is safe, harmonious and comfortable.
