On the evening of June 30, a seminar on the celebration of the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and on the Party building among graduate students was held online. Attending the seminar were SOB's Party Secretary WEI Chuanwen, Deputy Party Secretary SHEN Changxia, Instructor of Student Party Building FANG Ruifen, Counselor of Graduates SHEN Zhonghua, graduate Party members from SOB as well as graduate Party member representatives from Sun Yat-sen University, University of Jinan and South China Normal University. The seminar was presided over by SHEN Zhonghua.
At the seminar, WEI Chuanwen mentioned requirements and suggestions on the Party building among graduate students. FANG Ruifen shared her experience and ideas of Party building in practice. Subsequently, graduate Party member representatives from several universities elaborated on their achievements and experience in Party branch building. As Party members talked freely, they shared their gains in Party branch management and activities, and learned from each other's methods and experience in Party branch building.
In the end, SHEN Changxia concluded the seminar and shared her inspiration triggered by Party members' speeches. She said, through this seminar, Party branch building should be closely connected with corresponding major features and social demands. Each Party branch should launch activities with its own characteristics to boost its vitality and creativity and to strengthen its role as a "fighting bastion".
