On June 18, School of Business and Alibaba.com jointly held an online dual selection meeting, which was attended by 15 high-quality enterprises and more than 100 students from SOB. DING Hao, Associate Dean of SOB, SHEN Changxia, Deputy Party Secretary, WANG Zhen, Secretary of Youth League Committee, XIANG Yuanwei, ZHANG Zhe and QIN Yu, counselors, attended the dual selection meeting.

At the meeting, DING Hao pointed out that students cultivated by the School have been equipped with solid professional knowledge and skills, international vision and patriotism, making them high-quality talents that meet the development needs of enterprises. He hoped that students can fully display their advantage and pick their favorite enterprise in the dual selection meeting. The person in charge of Alibaba.com explained in detail the industry development status of cross-border e-commerce B2B and introduced the participating companies one by one.

This dual selection meeting is specially held in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies based on the employment education program matching supply-demand between the University and Alibaba (China) Network Technology Co., Ltd. In order to realize the targeted supply-demand matching between the University and enterprises, and strengthen the cooperation between the University and enterprises in targeted talent training and employment internship, SOB joined hands with Alibaba.com to open a specialized class of cross-border e-commerce, which has greatly enhanced the core competitiveness of students of SOB in employment.
