On the afternoon of December 29, SoB held a meeting of summarizing the first semester of the 2022-2023 academic year online, with the topic of “Gathering the Strength for Development and Striving for New Achievements”. All faculty and staff of SoB attended the meeting.

XIAO Ximing introduced the agenda and purpose of this meeting. YUAN Denghua, Associate Dean, summarized the work of this semester and arranged work for the new semester. In the speeches of school leaders, XIAO Ximing conveyed the appointment document of the GDUFS Party Committee with HAN Xiaohua as Associate Dean and expounded her division of labor. Then, Associate Deans ZENG Chuhong, DING Hao, HAN Xiaohua, and Deputy Party Secretary SHEN Changxia, concluded their responsibility scope respectively, and introduced their future works.

In the speeches of representative branch secretaries and department heads, ZHAO Di, the representative branch secretaries of faculty groups and the branch secretary of Business Administration, shared his experience. During the communicative session, SoB teachers proposed advice on school development, the advancement of teaching, and works of class selection and arrangement.

Eventually, on behalf of the leading group of the SoB Party committee, XIAO Ximing expressed his gratitude to all faculty and staff who overcame various difficulties, stayed true to their original aspirations, and jointly strived to fulfill their teaching, scientific research and social service in high quality during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also hoped that in the coming year, SoB could work harder to usher in new chapters.
