On the afternoon of March 19th, HO Shun-Man, President of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSU), was invited to give a special lecture on the theme of ‘Myths of Artificial Intelligence and Humanities Literacy’ for SoB’s faculties and students. SHEN Minghao, Minister of the Publicity Division and Minister of United Front Work Department of the CPC of GDUFS, and YUAN Denghua, Associate Dean (in charge) of SoB, attended the lecture.

First, on behalf of all the faculties and students of SoB, Professor YUAN Denghua welcomed President HO Shun-Man for his coming and briefly introduced his educational background to faculties and students. On the forum, starting with the current development status of artificial intelligence, HO Shun-man, emphasized the rapid development and penetration of artificial intelligence in all aspects of life.

After this special lecture, SHEN Minghao highly praised this lecture with “holistic view, profound thought, solid theory, extensive knowledge, and rational analysis”. Meanwhile, he encouraged students to continuously improve their abilities in order to actively adapt to new changes.
