On the morning of March 22, 2023, Jason GAO, the Chinese representative of Marquette University, visited SoB to discuss cooperation on the double-degree programs. YUAN Denghua, Vice Dean (in charge), DING Hao, Vice Dean, and XU Yiqing, Deputy Minister of International Cooperation and Exchange attended the meeting.

DING Hao introduced the history, specialty characteristics, scientific research and discipline development, talent cultivation, student employment, and other aspects of SoB, emphasizing the development approaches and achievements of the internationalization of SoB. Jason GAO introduced the long history, the current situation of Macquarie University, and the cooperation projects with Chinese universities, emphasizing that the negotiation of the double-degree programs with GUDFS mainly focuses on the business major, and hopes to cooperate in double-degree programs, student exchanges, scholar visits, etc.

The two sides also negotiated the details of cooperation, especially on interdisciplinary studies, the way to obtain undergraduate degrees, the cost of students going abroad and scholarships, etc.
