On December 9, 2023, the first session of “Digital Economy and Management” Academic Forum of GDUFS was successfully held at the GDUFS International Academic Exchange Center. President of GDUFS YAN Xiangbin attended and delivered a speech. Distinguished experts and scholars in the field of digital economy and management were invited to give keynote reports, including CHEN Xiaohong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chairperson of Hunan University of Technology and Business, ZHANG Weiguo, Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars recipient, and Dean of the School of Management at Shenzhen University, NIU Baozhuang, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars recipient and Professor at South China University of Technology, XUE Xiaolong, Dean of the School of Management at Guangzhou University, LIU Shanshi, Pearl River Scholar Distinguished Professor and Professor at South China University of Technology, HAN Xiaohua, Executive Dean of our Business School. Over 200 people attended the academic forum, including SHEN Minghao, Vice President of GDUFS, CHEN Ping, Minister of the Development Planning Department and the Scientific Research Department, XIAO Ximing, Chairperson of SoB, YUAN Denghua, Executive Dean of SoB, ZHANG Hao, Associate Dean of the School of Finance, and teachers and students from related economics and management disciplines inside and outside the university attended the forum. This academic forum showcased new theories, technologies, achievements, and trends in the field of digital economy and management disciplines under the backdrop of “Digital China” construction, providing an academic exchange platform for experts and scholars in the field to share the latest academic achievements and practical applications.
