To promote the high-quality development of the E-commerce major, on June 19, 2023, SHEN Zhonghua, Director of the E-commerce Department, and Professor WANG Hongliang were invited to attend the 2023 Guangdong Provincial Undergraduate E-commerce Education High-Quality Development and National/Provincial First-Class E-commerce Undergraduate Major Construction Seminar. The meeting was hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Undergraduate E-commerce Teaching Guidance Committee and Department of Education of Guangdong Province, undertaken by Guangzhou Nanfang College, and co-organized by Shenzhen Infinite Technology Co., Ltd. Experts and scholars attending included Professor LI Qi, Professor PENG Lifang and Professor ZHANG Jianlin, Deputy Directors of the National Undergraduate E-commerce Teaching Guidance Committee, and Committee Member Professor YU Baoqin, along with over 80 experts and professor team members in the E-Commerce field from various universities including Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xiamen University, Alibaba Business School, Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, South China University of Technology, South China Normal University, Shenzhen University, Guangdong University of Technology, and Guangzhou University.

This symposium built a harmonious communication platform between SoB and students, shortened the distance between them, deepened the teacher-student relationship, and played a positive role in improving SoB’s teaching quality and student management, better promoting the development of the E-commerce Department’s discipline construction.
