On the afternoon of March 28, 2025, the inaugural session of the “Sixty Years of Glory, Business Towards the Future” Business Series Lectures— “Academic Lecture Hall” kicked off and was held via an online conference. Academician CHEN Xiaohong of the Chinese Academy of Engineering was specially invited as the guest speaker for this event, delivering a talk titled “Cutting-Edge Development Trends and Applications of AI Technology.” She provided in-depth insights on hot topics including the evolution of AI technology, the application of large models, industry innovation, and talent cultivation. XIE Weiguang, Member of GDUFS CPC Standing Committee and Vice President, attended the event and delivered opening remarks. Professor YUAN Denghua, Executive Dean of SoB, served as the host, and over 200 faculty and students participated online.
