On the afternoon of December 17, 2024, Business Academic Forum Session 77 was held as scheduled. This forum invited Associate Professor MA Jie from the Department of Business Administration at the School of Management, Jinan University, as the guest speaker, who delivered a lecture for our faculty and students titled “The Side Hustle Paradox: Understanding Resource Dynamics in Dual Career Development”. The lecture was presided over by Associate Professor SUN Hailong, Director of SoB’s Graduate Office. During the talk, Professor MA Jie also meticulously shared his research experience on engaging with existing literature, such as identifying research gaps and theoretical limitations through problematization and critical reading, and methods to enhance data validity.
