On August 15, 2024, the Department of Education of Guangdong Province released the approval list of key scientific research platforms for regular higher educational institutions approved in 2024. The Key Laboratory of Cross-Cultural Information Analysis and Intelligent Decision-Making, jointly proposed by School of Business (SoB), the School of Information Science and Technology, and the School of Journalism and Communication, and directed by Professor YAN Xiangbin, was successfully approved. This marked a major breakthrough in the establishment of provincial-level key laboratories for SoB. Relying on this platform, SoB will further strengthen discipline development and continue to enhance both the quality and quantity of its research output. By optimizing resource allocation, fostering collaboration within research teams, advancing interdisciplinary integration, and focusing on cutting-edge research areas, SoB is committed to fostering innovative research achievements.
