On the morning of May 15, a delegation led by LIN Guokang, Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Service Center of the Communist Youth League, visited the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for research and guidance. LIU Fanglong, Vice Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, together with faculty members and student team representatives, received the guests.

The delegation toured the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Practice Base at SoB. LIU Fanglong gave a brief overview of the base’s development and led the guests to visit student teams. At the symposium, LIU Fanglong extended a warm welcome to LIN Guokang and his delegation on behalf of GDUFS and gave a brief introduction to SoB as well as its achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship education. LIN Guokang introduced the main functions of the Guangzhou Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Service Center, along with details of the 11th Young Innovators and Entrepreneurs’ Competition of Guangzhou (Student Category), including its organization, application requirements, and incentive policies. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as building a youth employment and entrepreneurship service system, incubating and funding start-up projects, and developing a team of entrepreneurship mentors.

The visit aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the current employment and entrepreneurship situation of GDUFS students, promote the 11th Young innovators and Entrepreneurs’ Competition of Guangzhou (Student Category), and jointly explore new approaches to advancing youth employment and entrepreneurship. It not only strengthened the ties between GDUFS and the Guangzhou Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the Communist Youth League but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation in the field of youth employment and entrepreneurship services.
