From February to May 2024, the Ministry of Education organized the first National College Student Career Planning Competition, including the teaching competition track for college educators in career development and employment guidance courses. Following the arrangements of the Ministry of Education, the Department of Education of Guangdong Province held the provincial round for this track. The competition consisted of several parts, including presentations on course development, classroom teaching recordings, and simulated teaching or guidance scenarios. A total of 172 contestants from 106 universities registered for the event. After eligibility reviews and two rounds of online evaluation, 10 contestants were awarded Gold Prizes, 20 were awarded Silver Prizes, and 56 were awarded Bronze Prizes. In this competition, the course team including LUO Yiying, Counselor of School of Business (SoB), won a Silver Prize in the Higher Education Group of the provincial round.
