On March 5, 2023, to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and enhance bilateral interaction between Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) and enterprises, the opening ceremony for the first phase of the “New Talents for Copper Merchants” Training Program, organized by Jiangxi Copper Corporation and undertaken by School of Business (SoB) of GDUFS, was held in Classroom 401, Building 9, Baiyun Mountain Campus. JIAO Fangtai, Vice President of GDUFS, CHEN Yunian, Member of the Party Committee and Vice General Manager of Jiangxi Copper Corporation, and other leaders, visited XIAO Ximing, Chairperson of SoB, YUAN Denghua, Executive Dean, LIU Xianghe, Deputy Director of the Development and Planning Division, and 50 trainees attended the opening ceremony of the project. The ceremony was hosted by YUAN Denghua. Guided by the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, this special training program aims to further broaden the professional knowledge of enterprise management talents, equip them with the fundamental principles and methods of marketing, strengthen their problem-analysis and problem-solving skills, and promote the high-quality development of state-owned enterprises. This training program leverages the mutually beneficial advantages of university-enterprise collaboration, providing a higher-level platform for cultivating well-rounded talents who combine theory with practice, while also offering GDUFS a stronger pathway to enhance its international influence.
