On the afternoon of April 27, 2024, School of Business (SoB) held the 3rd Alumni Association Council Meeting in 2024, themed “Pool Business Wisdom, Build the Future Together”, in Room 103 of the Administration Building at the University Town Campus. The forum aimed to further strengthen ties with alumni, unite their support, and promote the high-quality development of SoB. During the event, SoB officially launched the “Home of SoB” Alumni Fund. Attendees included XIAO Ximing, Chairperson of SoB, DING Hao, Associate Dean, SHEN Changxia, Deputy Chairperson of SoB, and LIN Ming, Executive President of SoB Alumni Association Council, WANG Jinhong, Executive Vice President of SoB Alumni Association, representatives of the Alumni Association Council, and faculty and student representatives. The forum was chaired by SHEN Changxia. XIAO Ximing and LIN Ming jointly unveiled the “Home of SoB” Fund. As 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of GDUFS, alumni expressed their gratitude to GDUFS and made generous contributions to support the launch of the fund. By 12:00 noon on April 28, a total of RMB 275,669 had been raised. The establishment of the fund has aggregated greater resources for the development of SoB, demonstrated alumni’s strong confidence in the future of SoB, and served as a tribute to GDUFS’s 60th anniversary celebration.
