On the afternoon of May 18, 2022, SOB held the third session of the New Business Seminar in the Tencent VooV meeting room. The theme of this seminar was “the Role of Assurance of Learning (AoL) in the Construction of New Business”. Professor CHEN Song of the School of Economics and Management of Tongji University served as the guest speaker.

According to the characteristics of the construction of new business in the new era, CHEN Song put forward valuable suggestions for the development of new business in SOB. Then, he interpreted the latest concept of AoL in AACSB International Certification and pointed out that we should focus on the construction process of the mission-oriented curriculum system, and at the same time use agile management and change management to improve curriculum quality. Finally, he shared the course cases and advanced experience of Tongji University, discussed the application of AoL in the construction of new business, as well as provided valuable suggestions for the relevant systems in SOB.
