Invited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and Monash University, LIANG Yan, Director of SOB Accreditation Office attended the Asia Pacific Conference for Deans and Directors 2018 in Melbourne, Australia from November 12 to 14, 2018. The conference focused on topics such as business schools and MBA education, innovation and entrepreneurship education in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative, and business practice teaching, etc. LIANG Yan communicated with Bodo B Schlegelmlich, Chairman of AMBA Board of Directors, and Professor WANG Chongming, China Regional Consultant during the conference. She exchanged in-depth views with representatives of business schools at the conference on the process and experience of international accreditation, and she also talked with some other institutions about mutual cooperation. The exchanges at the conference reflected the SOB principle of “using accreditation as the starting point, enhancing development through accreditation, promoting connotation development and continuously improving the internationalized characteristics of SOB”. The great significance of this conferencewas not only strengthening the communication between SOB and AMBA, enhancing the corporations with other business schools in Asian Pacific region, but also further expanding the brand influence of SOB.
